Frequently asked questions

The short version of how bidding, placement, payments, and moderation work.
What does my payment buy?

A successful payment adds to your destination's seasonal total and buys changing provisional advertising exposure during bidding. Only the final ten receive the locked 60-day showcase.

Is a final spot guaranteed?

No. Rankings can change whenever another successful payment completes. The projection shown before checkout is only an estimate.

What happens if I am outbid?

Your seasonal total remains recorded and you can add another payment to the same destination. Being outbid is not grounds for a refund.

Can I get a refund?

Completed bids are final for being outbid, changing your mind, low exposure, or failing to finish in the top ten. Limited exceptions apply where required by law, for duplicate or incorrect charges, late settlement, or verified technical non-delivery.

When does checkout close?

Checkout closes 20 minutes before the displayed bidding deadline so payments have time to settle before rankings lock.

Can I promote a social profile?

Yes. Public websites and social profiles are accepted when you own them or are authorized to promote them and they comply with the advertising rules.

Can I use a URL shortener or invite link?

No. Submit the final public destination directly so visitors and moderators can understand where the link goes.

How are ties decided?

Higher totals rank first. If two destinations have exactly the same total, the destination first added to that season ranks higher.

What happens after the 60-day showcase?

The season moves to the permanent archive. A new season starts at zero; totals never carry into another season.

Who processes payment and tax?

Dodo Payments processes checkout as Merchant of Record and provides the customer receipt. ONLY TEN does not store payment-card details.
